My Love Story With Australia
16.10.16
Today it's my one year anniversary in Australia. Ever since I was a little girl it was my dream to live, surf and travel in Australia. I always dreamt about a magical place where crystal clear waves never stop lapping against beautiful sandy beaches. A place where the sun shines over the water and sets over the mountains. Where there are birds in the sky, dolphins in the sea and kangaroos on the land.
Two days before my flight a dear friend of mine came to visit me to share some of his experiences from the big Kangaroo continent. After a long chat over a lovely Israeli black coffee, we realised that I was so excited that I hadn't even booked a place to stay for the first night. He booked a place for me in a hostel in Sydney called "Noah's Backpackers". He told me that awesome, magical things happen in Australia and all you need to do is follow your heart and be brave. He gave me a big goodbye hug and went on his way.
He had his own adventures waiting for him.
A year ago to the day, I went on that plan and I made my dream come true.
I packed a bag with everything I have ever known about myself, about life, about love, and started my journey, me myself and I making the dream come true.
After a 24 hour flight, I took my bag and my skateboard and waited in line to leave the airport and to get that beautiful Australian stamp in my passport.
I couldn't wait to go and chase some waves! I met three beautiful people who offered to give me a lift to my hostel in Bondi Beach. Fuck I'm really here, I'm in Australia, I couldn't believe I was so happy!
They dropped me in the hostel but it was two hours before check in time so I dropped my bag, put on my bikini and skated to the beach,
I don't think I was ever so happy in my life...
After laying in the Australian sun for a few hours it was time to go back and check in.
I went in the room, a six bedroom, kind of mouldy with many bags on the floor and a mess everywhere
I LOVE IT!
I felt alive again. My journey has begun, I'm a backpacker again.
I took a shower and I went to explore the city.
I'm not a city girl. Sydney was so big and fast, so many people walking past, traffic lights, cars and a lot of noise. All I wanted to do was to buy a campervan, surf and enjoy nature. I think I'm looking for something else.
I came back to the room, tired, jet-lagged and a little confused. I didn't know what I wanted or where my next destination is.

There he was. Scruffy, with glasses and an accent so thick I couldn't understand a word that came out of his mouth.
"Hey nice to meet you, I'm Rob" he said, "Hey nice to meet you too, I'm Shir"... "Shir? how do you pronounce that?" "Shirrrrr with an R at the end"
"Oh that's cool, are you from Israel?" he asked "Yes" I answered "Oh, I've have been there!" he said, "Ah yeah? That's nice,
anyway I want to go for a beer, do you wanna join?"
He hesitated, "I'll be downstairs in the lobby," I said and left the room...

SIZING

RINGS

How to measure your ring size?

Click here for a ring sizing video

All you need is a pair of scissors, a piece of thread and a ruler.

Wrap the thread around your finger, then mark and cut the spot where the thread meets.
Measure the length of the thread with your ruler. This will give you the circumference (C) of your ring size

Now you can choose your size from our ring sizing chart.
if you are still not sure about the right size, or your size doesn't show in our chart, you are more than welcome to contact us and we'll be happy to assist you.

BELLY BUTTON PIERCINGS INSTRUCTIONS
To put in the belly button piercing, grasp the ring between the fingers and thumb on either side of the opening and pull one side of the ring toward you and the other side away from you. This will twist the metal to widen the opening for you to insert the jewellery. Do not pull the jewellery apart as this may put stress on the metal. You may use pliers if you cannot use your fingers. Put the jewellery into the hole and close the same way.

The ring is made of either Silver 925 or Gold-filled.
To maintain the cleanliness of the piercing, in the first week you should always wash your hands before handling, and clean 3 times a day in a saltwater solution (glass of water with three teaspoons of salt) and apply an antibiotic cream during the week. It is not recommended to enter a chlorine swimming pool within the first 10 days of changing the piercing. However, if you do, it is recommended to wash the area with soap in the shower afterwards. Seawater is good for the piercing.
You should avoid tight clothes that may snag the piercing. This may cause infection so please be careful. The warranty does not cover the jewellery in the event of infection or allergies of any kind. No responsibility for a loss.
If you have any questions or need some help, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
